Calvin L. Rogers, Jr. is a Live and Studio Musician, Producer, & Songwriter who currently resides in Nashville, TN. Although he was born in Tyler, Texas, he grew up and spent most of his life in Huntsville, Alabama. He has been bless to hit the stage at 5 years old and has been rocking the stages every since.
Calvin attended Bob Jones high school and later graduated from Oakwood University with a BA Degree in Music with a concentration in Piano Performance. While at Oakwood he studied under Dr. Wayne Bucknor. His Classical Studies included virtuosos such as Mozart, Beethoven, & Haydn. Outside of his studies, Calvin continued to play for local artist and groups while also serving as the Musical Director for The Voices of Triumph - a Gospel Choir of Oakwood University.
In April of 2016, Calvin founded his music production company, Calvin Rogers Music LLC. His incredible ear & unique style helps him to deliver Outstanding Production & Performances to his clients. Working alongside his manger Peter Headley, he has been doing just that.
Calvin is a current member of CMA and the National Producers Guild. He has an appreciation for Numerous genres of music. Although he can play & produce any and all genres of music, he hopes to continue to work in Country, Pop, R&B, & Gospel Music genres. Although Piano is Calvin’s main instrument, he has been blessed to play over 10 different instruments exceptionally well. His instruments include: Piano, Drums, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Organ, Sing, Acoustic Guitar, Ukulele, Harmonica, & Any Percussion Instrument.
Outside of Music, Calvin loves to spend quality time with his wife, Princess Rogers Esq. He also has a passion for Astronomy and sports. His favorite sports include: basketball, football, tennis, & ultimate frisbee. Calvin also loves being out in the Country while riding Dirt Bikes and 4 Wheelers.
Today Calvin continues to manage his company and is inspired to bring excellent and heartfelt music to the world. He chooses to continue to be a light unto others through his music and character.
